Bidra med feedbackAfter the initial alarm that we were significantly underdressed we had an excellent time. It was very amusing that the old french couple next to us wondered allowed if we had found the place by accident, underestimating how much we could understand. Friendly service, good...food and wine.
We love French food but wanted a change of pace so we looked for a nice Italian restaurant in the 6th where we are staying in an apartment. Based on Tripadvisor reviews, we picked a few, did a walkby to see how they looked, and...picked this one. What a lovely surprise. The food was really outstanding, the service was attentive, and the room was cozy and comfortable. There was a good mix of English speakers and French speakers so I got the impression that it wasn't just a tourist spot. We shared the sauteed clams, each had one of the veal main course dishes, and shared the cannoli for dessert. Go there for a change of pace.
Le Perron is one of the best Italian restaurants we found in Paris. (This is a big statement, but it is a mood shared by several other friends who also travel to Paris) Le Perron is a jewel of an Italian restaurant in 6/7. Arrondesmont....You make all pasta house, offer truffles when in season and through their typical menu offer a variety of speciality, depending on what is fresh and in season. Beyond the excellent food, its Italian wine list is robust and covers an appropriate price range. It is equally important that it is a spacious and comfortable restaurant in an otherwise curved area of restaurants. I am a tourist, I know, so like any other tourist Yelp review they always seem to come in 5 stars, BUT Le Perrone deserves all.
We decided to go here, although I usually follow the rule of eating locally. I had the Clam linguini with oil and it was very good. I don't know how some of the other dishes were, but that gave me my pasta mix. We have a Limoncello as the last farewell. Service was excellent. Prices were high.
So we go to our little neighborhood Resto, le Perron, in the middle of a heat wave as yesterday evening or a snowstorm. Families, young couples and old even a single habit are treated with special care. We know our favorite dishes here, Italian classics,...Vitello-Tonato, artichokes with Putargue, great fishes or Tempoura as well as pasta dishes. Always listen to the tips of the cartridge as a small northern Italian named thank you, or a fiery Sicilian wine grown on Mt. Etna. Desserts are great and if you order coffee, you will receive a special almond cookie and a farewell limoncella.
