Bistro des Augustins

A must place by the Seine. The host Alain was great. Food is very good.

I stopped in here for lunch based on reviews, definitely a great choice. The food was delicious. Just a little cramped but I’ve come to learn that’s most good restaurants in Paris. Fairly priced for a hot gratin and a small wine only cost me about €19.80. Would definitely recommend here if in the area! I got the chicken one…delicious.

This tiny eatery along the Seine on the left bank has the best Gratins in all of Paris. Nothing hits the spot on a cold winter's day than piping hot potatoes, ham, cream and melted cheese washed down with a delicious house wine. Prices are ridiculously low. The ambiance is comfy and communal. The staff were very helpful and courteous.

If they like buries and hot sandwiches with super service, it is their place! beyond that it is not expensive! simply enchanting!
