I went here for chicken thighs and they didn't have any. I was a little bit confused because they have every other part of the chicken but not thighs. So I won't be coming near anymore for that... the store is super small and they do not have a ample variety of products. But on the positive side they do sell Masa for tamales that is pretty darn good.

Their masa for tamales horrible!!! The BEST is the ORIGINAL location on Compton Ave and Florence. I only came to this since it was on my way home and thought why not give it a try. Gosh I was so wrong! NEVER will I buy masa from this location. It took my tamales 6-8 hrs to cook insane! When usually tops 3 hours done.

My family has been visiting the various Amapola markets for ages. This one is a newer one kinda but it's the same Amapola we all know and love.The taquitos are incredible and very crunchy! The buche is tasty. The chicharrón carnitas are delicious. I've even tried the Tamales and tripas and they are good as well. You really can't go wrong with much here. I like the customer service of staff too. They are often kind and look like they are happy to be working and represent.For masa this is the place too. It's just something about their masa that makes tamales extra delicious, almost buttery. Their fresh tortillas are also a must have whether you buy any of their meats or not. Just to have they are a must.By the way, I went today and there was a line. But it moved very fast. I was totally amazed. They have a great operation going to where even if there is a line the wait is short. Things just keep flowing.Great job and keep up the great work!
