Bidra med feedbackJust moved here from san antonio and was looking for good street tacos. got the asada with a side of cheese and they were absolutely phenomenal! family got enchiladas, a burrito, and a bowl and everyone was pleased. the service was super quick and the food was delicious. can't wait to come back!
Overall good food and a nice relaxing environment at the restaurant itself. I wish they didn't close so early but I guess given their location, that would make sense, at least on the week nights.
We've been meaning to come here for a long time and were finally in the area during lunch... The Good: It wasn't busy when we arrived around 11:15 and our order was taken quickly. The waitress was very nice throughout our dining experience. The Bad: Our expectations were not met here or just too high. The food was bland and only warm when it arrived. The meat was pretty tough and chewy. We had to ask for napkins and silverware also. The Ugly Truth: If you come here for a smile from the wait staff then you're in the right place. If you want great food that is hot then it's best to find another place in the area to fulfill your taco or nacho cravings. Definitely a lot more hype about this place then it's worth. We won't be returning
Love this place, their salsa and guacamole are awesome. Although a bit pricey for apps, it's solid food.
Good appetizers. We ordered the Trio which came with guacamole, queso and house salsa. The guacamole and salsa were fresh and the queso was mild and creamy. We got a mix of corn and flour chips and both were good. The Baja Shrimp tacos had a lot of shrimp and they were filling. If you want beans or rice, you have to add separately, but the tacos were enough for me. The El Chicano Burrito was was a bit dry. It had good flavor, but I felt like it needed more cheese, salsa or sour cream. The Paloma was ok. It was too sweet and not enough tart or grapefruit. Overall the food and service here was good and it wasn't overly expensive.
