Bidra med feedbackI first ate at Rasoi on it's opening night. It had great decor and an ambience to suit. I ordered a venison curry dish with two sides and unfortunately, what turned up was a lamb dish and no sides. The staff were trying their best, but there was a problem which was later identified as the new computerised ordering system. I must say that I don't normally eat lamb for the fat content, but this had to be the best lamb I'd ever had. Ever. They refused to charge me for any of my bill, so I went back a week later and tried a goat dish. This dish was beautifully prepared and extremely tender, reminding me of the tenderness of the Greek cleftico dishes I'd experienced in Cyprus many years ago. I enjoyed this meal immensely and all the hiccoughs with the ordering system had disappeared. If any of you reading this were affected by the first night glitches, I'd urge you to try Rasoi again as you'd truly be missing out on wonderful Indian gourmet experience. My compliments to the chef and all the staff for a particularly memorable evening.
I have had several takeaways from Rasoi, and they have all been fantastic! In my opinion this is by far the best Indian I have ever eaten. You mouth just explodes with flavour after every bite. I highly recommend.
A home away from home .. they have recreated true flavours of India in NZ... amazingly designed menu and calm ambiance... great food and excellent flavours..no to forget a great service.. Bharwa Seekh kabab as must try..: cheers.. keep up the great work
