501 Steakhouse - Pancake

We booked a reservation for Saturday, May 25, 2024 to celebrate a college graduation. Unfortunately, the waitress we were assigned was terrible from start to finish. She answered our questions rudely and shortly. Despite my usual practice of leaving tips, the automatic 20% gratuity seemed undeserved in this case. To make matters worse, my nephew found a long strand of hair in his meal. When my niece brought this to the manager's attention, he boldly dismissed her claim. We were shocked by his response, as we do not make up such things. I had previously visited this restaurant without issue, but I am still shocked by the lack of customer service skills displayed by the staff member on this occasion. It is disappointing to see an establishment that caters to the public employ someone with such poor customer service.

This is such a lovely establishment. The atmosphere is fantastic, enhanced by some soothing live music. The food was exceptional, and bartender Reggie provided excellent service throughout my visit.
