Bidra med feedbackThe room was very nice and perfect fit for our family, (2801) The hotel was decent looking but has some major flaws. The elevator situation is crazy, It literally takes up to 30 minutes at busy times for the elevator to come. The staff was not very nice or helpful. The beach area was so crowded it was hard to find a spot anywhere, I know that is not the hotels fault but they could do more to help. I will not be back to this place.
This place is in a good location if you like staying close to pier park. Our room was nice with a few minor issues. We had a great view. We didn’t really like having to wear bracelets the whole time. Only one hot tub worked. No water in the gym. The elevator situation was like nothing I had ever seen before with having been going to the beach every year for quite some time and staying in other condos. They had someone working on some of the elevators to stop it from stopping at other floors. The fact that this is needed was insane to me. I would probably not stay here again unless staying on a lower floor. It made it hard to plan to do things at a certain time bc you didn’t know how long you would be waiting around for an elevator.
Took forever to be waited on and it wasn’t crowded. Took a long time to get our food, one of us didn’t get their dinner until the rest of us were finished eating. It was cold so it must’ve been sitting around for awhile. Also, the salad came out with no dressing, so we had to wait and couldn’t eat with others. Waitress offered us a piece of pie for our inconvenience, when we said yes, the manager said no! Unbelievable ! Overall experience wasn’t great. They did have a guitarist/ singer who was very good! And the view of the gulf was awesome.Parking: They let us park in front but I don’t think you could park in garage without a ticket.
Tidewater is a great family resort. Perfect location near Pier Park. Not sure I would return in June as it is extremely busy and the elevators are horrible. We stayed on the 19th floor and waited up to 30 minutes for an elevator. Only 1 hot tub was working. Love the area and the condo was pretty and well equipped. but would probably not stay at Tidewater again until elevator situation is resolved.
We just checked out from a 5 night stay here and will definitely not be back! Our condo was infested with roaches! During our stay, we complained to Vacasa twice about it. The first time they sent an exterminator, but he only sprayed in the kitchen, and it seems that that just made them gravitate towards the whole rest of the condo. We were even smacking them as they were climbing up the walls down our rooms hallway! The 2nd complaint, they didn’t send anyone! We also complained of one of our bathrooms’ tub and sink would not drain. They wouldn’t send anyone to fix that either. Our balcony doors were extremely hard to open. And we even found clothes from the previous guests laying around. So not sure we get our moneys worth of that “cleaning fee” we all pay out the rear for…anyway, after all that mess, then NO, we will not be back. We spend our hard earned money to have a great experience and bring back memories and fun souvenirs, NOT a sackful of roaches!
