Atitlan Cafe - Panajachel

Food is OK, service is meh. View is great but there are better places to go with the same view

Extremely expensive for not very good food. Tourist trap got me, lesson learned. The great view of the lake is very tempting.

The reason to dine here is for the breathtaking view, it is truly remarkable and well worth seeking out this spot. Although there are 2 other restaurants with the same name, they do not offer a view of the lake and volcanoes. The food was quite good, the drinks were decent, and the service was satisfactory.

I had a great experience at this restaurant with a terrace overlooking Lake Panajachel. There was a wide variety of options, but I especially enjoyed the fresh and delicious fish dish. The Michelada drink was also fantastic. The only drawbacks were the slightly slow service and the regular interruptions from people trying to sell things.
