Petit Courault - Pamproux

Restaurant located away from the village of pamproux, located in an old mill. Very good reception. unfortunately we couldn't eat on the terrace very pleasant because of the bad weather. The meal was very good quality and served quickly. excellent house products. We took two discovery menus, accompanied by a pomerol laland and finished with two coffees. all for the sum of 113 euros. We started the meal with a poached foie gras accompanied by fish and mirabelles. Then we had a lemon sorbet sprinkled with liqueur red fruit. as a main dish, we chose a piece of beef with a thigh of canard and various vegetables. Then came the cheese tray and varied desserts. A treat! Despite its very isolated location, it is better to book. the property has guest rooms.

We brought friends to this old mill that is adjacent to the PAMPROUX River, a beautiful place, and a beautiful guest room. So nice surprise. very good reception of the owner(humour and kindness). Then a very good service, good table tracking. the menu at 24, 90 euros, is copied, and works well. We had a miller merlu (from the potinière, oleron's hee) of great freshness, and taste like never, because accompanied by a potato chipper of the garden (a feast, and then we must mention the grilled meat plate, (PARTHENAISE), and duck needles (very, very good). To finish a nice dessert, (the country's yellow cherry in gratin, vanilla ice climbing on Italian)A beautiful evening in this restaurant, or it's useful to book, because it's full on. beautiful discovery of our countryside and terroirs.
