Harvest Room - Palos Heights

We ordered a basic breakfast of bacon and eggs, and biscuits and gravy. The toast and bacon came out burnt and the hash browns were stale and underseasoned. For a restaurant that comes very well recommended it's surprising that they're essentially on the same level as Denny's or IHOP

Arrived at 2pm, restaurant was empty only 2 tables of customers with a different waitress. No one thier to greet you, looked liked they were closing. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated. She never said hello wanted to know if we wanted diet restriction menu. We sat down reading the menu sitting waiting 15 minutes she never came back until she saw us putting our coats on. “The place was empty” Service was terrible and very unfriendly. Love Harvest Room. Service is amazing food is fantastic. Have been coming here for years with my hubby. The atmosphere lighting is so relaxing. When we have our date nights here I feel like I’m on vacation on a different planet. We take time to eat our food and enjoy our drinks and it’s absolutely decadent. What a beautiful needed break from all the responsibilities at home. Thank you Harvest Room

Very fancy place. The food was really good and homemade.

Fast service, staff was awesome, food was yumz. They've got a separate vegan/gf menu. Busy place.
