JOE THE JUICE - Palo Alto

The service is extremely slow with only one staff member attending to customers, and the juices are not made with all the listed ingredients.

I had the green smoothie and enjoyed that it wasn't too overpowering, but it was a bit thin. I would prefer more green vegetables in it. Unlike many other places, the green juice here doesn't taste like green-colored apple juice. The Palo Alto location is a peaceful spot to relax on a sunny Saturday afternoon. There were families with kids, people working on laptops, and friends chatting, but it wasn't too noisy. (In contrast, the Burlingame location can feel chaotic, like a busy afternoon in Chinatown.) The bathroom could use some attention, as the filling container was overflowing.

I requested that the server wear a mask while preparing my juice due to spittle spray while talking, but she refused. The juice portion was smaller than expected, so I asked for some ice cream. She discussed my drink with someone and then grabbed a handful of ice with dirty gloves before leaving. The server was rude and had shoulder-length brown hair.

It was really expensive and great juice for sure. Hard to pick the right juice for you because the combinations seem to have like 2 common base styles all of which stretch the limit :0)
