The Hill At Serenbe - Palmetto

I enjoyed my visit, the ambiente is beautiful. I don't care to sit on a bar with bartenders that are not personal, and the white male bartender never offered my friend and I offered a drink menu, never asked if we wanted to order anything! more than 20 minutes we were there before we finally ask if we could order. an hour later, two black male bartenders come out and they were the nicest employees you could imagine. that's a problem. the menu, I think, because of the time of the day (3:30/4pm est), was small and simple. the margherita pizza was however great and absolutely delicious!

I don't remember the names of dessert I had, but it was lovely! Meatcake with celestial. check the photo. serenbe is always so peaceful. love watching the horses and going to the festivals.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience. The service is precise and with purpose, even with a large group. Most appetizers were great, and some were phenomenal. Everything was very well plated, and with few exceptions in the proportions you would expect in fine restaurants. Some dishes burst with flavors while some of them felt. somehow robbed. How taste was an adversary or a touch of the contemporary was something to avoid. That was the exception, not the rule. I'm almost sure I'll come back.

I had no time to write a proper review after dinner, but I knew I had to come back and leave one. at first the personal was an absolute shade. everyone was so friendly, helpful and willing to answer and give recommendations! the restaurant itself is beautiful and welcoming from the moment in which they enter the door. we had the garnel and schishito paprika, the roasted pork bells, the bell and evans lemon chicken, which were all amazing. for dessert we had the Portuguese eierknorpel and the lemon crisp cake, and I cannot begin to describe how delicious it was. Finally, the drinks were all perfect and everything we tried, fulfilled and surpasses the expectations! chef jesse went beyond and beyond on every court of presentation to taste and everything in between. we cannot wait to come back soon and introduce our friends and family into this amazing facility!

Delicious food and drinks! Had a wonderful server who made great recommendations. The mushroom Bahn mi was stunning, along with the bison and king trumpet mushrooms. Would love to visit again!
