Pizzeria Villagio - Palm Desert

Meh! Disappointing. Was expecting the same high level as before, but it fell short. No.

The restaurant was already closed for the day, but the OpenTable website was not updated, leading to us making reservations that ultimately went to waste. It was a disappointing experience, especially since we had guests visiting from Washington.

This restaurant is no longer known as Villagio; it is now Solanos

The food was good and the portions very generous. Would make this place a regular visit if I lived here

This was our first time going to this restaurant and we were dining with two other people. The hostess seated up promptly and our waitress followed shortly. The waitress took our drink order and served them. She then took our food order. We ordered an appetizer and a pizza. The other couple ordered a pizza and molten lava cake. The waitress brought our pizza. We never did get our appetizer. The pizza was very good. Then came the molten lava cake. Looked good but there was no 'lava ' in the cake! Called the waitress over to tell her and she didn 't say anything, just put our bills down and walked away. We finished up, never hearing from he waitress again except for her comment when we were leaving Sorry it wasn 't an exceptional visit. Wouldn 't recommend this restaurant and won 't be going back.
