Panera Bread - Palm Desert

Greeted at the counter by manager , she did all the right things. I removed stars simply because 1 Panera used to put butter on bagels when toasted now they don't, and 2nd , this morning I ordered one double toasted with butter, the guy working the kitchen area put it in for the second toasting, pulled it put and put on counter, then proceeded to help a girl who came up to the counter leaving my bagel on the counter. Now you may know common sense, when you butter things the warmer it is the better the butter melts and creates a better taste. SO, how about next time either finish my order before helping a random person looking for her other possibly at wrong locatio. OR tell me you'll make a fresh one since you left mine to get COLD. I WONT RETURN ! Customer service is crucial in these times and today they failed!

I feel bad for the employees. They don't have enough help. Also, pay your employees a decent wage. Don't expect the customer to make up the difference. Corporate welfare. I don't mind tipping, but it should be extra for the worker on top of a decent wage. 7.25 /hour is a joke.

Ordered online and I can say I’m not satisfied at all order teriyaki chicken bowl and it’s basically empty there’s legit 3 pieces of chicken in it and some broccoli and about 1/4 cup of rice

It’s exactly what you expect of Panera: great food, great service, nice atmosphere. We have visited them tons of times for just bread and also for food. This time we visited for breakfast; they have lots of breakfast options. We were all satisfied with our food; very tasty. The staff are also nice and helpful. Decent prices on their items. We just wish the food was made a bit better. We got moderate food poisoning after eating here this past weekend. Hope the cleanliness improves!!

Panera 's Pick 2 menu option is awesome. I love to stop by every now and then after hiking. Their chicken chipotle avocado sandwich goes great with a soup on the side.
