Olympia Cafe - Palm Beach Gardens

Consistently excellent. The appetizers like olives, feta, and calamari are all delicious. There are plenty of vegetarian choices as well. Can't wait to come back again.

The owner made an effort to be accommodating, but unfortunately, the leg of lamb appeared to be overcooked and mushy. We had to return it.

We continue to find this restaurant an excellent place for Greek Food. This is the second time we've eaten here this week. First with friends and then with house guests. Both couples loved the food as much as did and will return.

I have been there twice and neither was a good dining experience. Both times service was very slow. The second time it was grossly inattentive. We arrived a few minutes earlier than as reserved; were promptly seated (not where requested, though other parties of 2 came soon after us and were seated where we had wanted to be ; ordered drinks, soon served; and ordered our meal when the drinks arrived. For the next 25 minutes we were invisible even though we tried with hand motions to get our server 's attention. We were not even served any bread, let alone the likely ready made Greek salad that comes with our entrees. So my wife left the table, found the manager and complained cordially. The manager then quickly brought out the pita bread basket and salads accompanied by a meek apology and more so her excuse that there was a large party to take care of, as if that should be our hungry problem. (There was a large party but also 4 6 empty tables. The entree did not arrive until 20 minutes later. The chicken kabob and sautéed salmon were both very tasty but the portions were small. We both left hungry. That is extraordinary; my wife usually has difficulty finishing a meal.

It was our numerous return to Olympia Cafe and again, we had a very nice dinner. Restaurant is a low key, non pretentious place where food is served as it should be, tasty and plenty on a plate. An owner is a Greek descendent who cares about his guests being happy and full. Our grilled Octopus was excellent and lamb and beef kebab were very good. We were offered a couple of samples of Greek wines we did not know to help us choose, all done with a smile... A definite come back for us!
