Bidra med feedbackFound this place on our last nite in Palermo (wot a shame). Simple furnishings, and simple scilian food, something we've been looking for since we got here. It's just like a living room,no fancy pizza's make believe pastas, proper fresh fish shown to you, antipasta you can help yourself to. There is a small language barrier but we got there and we weren't disappointed. This was like my ex scilian mother in laws cooking,,, excellent.
The food was mediocre to say the least, waiter was sullen , honestly cannot understand all the great reviews this place has had. would not recommend this restaurant at all
This is a nice restaurant, food was fresh but not a stand out. The buffet was good, and the fish was fresh. So nothing bad, but also didn't stand out. The servers were very nice too.
The food was good but no atmosphere and had a bad experience. We asked what kind of dessert they have. And the waiter brought a parfait without asking if we want it. There was a misunderstanding of the antipasti price. They charged extra because one plate was plateful, the waiter said... We didn't think it was plateful though. We really got irritated at the end of the dinner.
This small family restaurant was very pleasant near the center of Palermo. We had the buffet, which had a good variety and very fresh. The veal was tender and the pasta was hand made. The owner offered us his special desert of ricotta torta. Good stop.
