Gelateria Al Cassaro - PALERMO

This is an excellent ice cream shop on Via Vittorio Emanuele, close to Via Roma. They have a large variety of choices. It was easy to understand and order, even though the persons serving did not speak English. You pay at the automated machine at the entrance to the shop.

After a wonderful day walking around Palermo in the heat I decided that I needed to cool down and treat myself to an ice cream. The flavours were absolutely delightful and texture was spot on. There are lots of flavours to choose from. I went for the lemon , pistachio and milk flavour and they were sensational. If you are in Palermo then make this your go to place for ice cream

I found this place. Amazing staff. Very attentive. They have Gf cone individually packed, separate containers for celiac customers. Really amazing.

The owner was gluten-free and kept the gelato for celiac in separate containers. He had GF-broschen (for Brioche with Gelato), GF-Konen and Granitas. The Brioche and the Granitas were good!
