Salsa Street Mexican Cantina - Palatine

A nice quiet mexican restaurant in a strip mall. Stopped in around 5pm on a rainy Friday night and i was the only customer in the building. I did hear that they where taking some orders for either takeoit or delivery. Had the chicken burrito bowl and was very pleased with the portion size as well as the quality of the food. Also had a mango marriaggrita. Overall pretty good though i did think that it wss a bit pricey but maybe this is the going rate in the Chicago area.

We have been to the Dundee location a few times and my work has gotten take out from this location (the first time I ever had it) Still one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around. This was the first time we have been to the Palatine location. it doesn't look like much on the outside or inside but the food is great. Service was quick and attentive, it was later on a week night and there was only a few other tables filled. I love their black beans, I think they are the best I have ever had and the cilantro rice is excellent as well. Since we have noit been in a long time I didn't deviate from things I had and love. The 3 taco platter with One Wild Mushroom, Queso Fresco and Relleno Taco. All were just so good, the Queso Fresco with the carnalized cheese alvacado and elote is just a stunning taco. I really love this place and this location is as good as the Dundee location. Dont pass on it

Ended up here because I was working in the neighborhood. Waiter was good. Attentive. I ordered the steak, beef and shrimp tacos. I enjoyed the steak. The shrimp had to much pineapple salsa and the shrimp was small. The beef was good too. Vegetarian options: Mushroom taco. Didn't try it because wasn't sure if the mushrooms were canned or fresh Service: Dine in

Good taste really really bad would not recommend. Stale chips, the rise taste like it's min made rice the beans were also bad way to salty Asada Steak Chorizo taco dinner
