Hong Kong Lite - Palatine

We ordered for delivery about an hour before close. The delivery was very fast and everything was hot and fresh. The egg rolls were quite large and even contained baby shrimp. The chicken fried rice was average, just rice, chicken and soy sauce...but it was cooked well. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was lightly breaded, chrispy and a large portion. The Happy Family was the star...the ginger flavor of the brown sauce with the delicate vegetables and beef, chicken and jumbo shrimp was Great!

I’ve been going here for years, and probably will continue. The portions have gotten smaller, and the price keeps going up, but its “sorta” understandable. This was my first order of the, “Large Salt and Pepper Shrimp” and I was not disappointed. Probably one of their best dishes. Overall it’s definitely worth giving the place a go, the food is delicious!

I was just at this restaurant. I was picking up my order. I was having trouble with my card. As I was on the phone with my bank the lady behind the counter offered for me to come and pay next time. I of course cleared things with my bank and paid. In these times what a wonderful establishment. These are real genuine folks. Will go nowhere else for Chinese food. The food is awesome!

I hadn't had good Chinese food in years until I went here. The food is delicious! The lunch specials are worth every penny. I highly recommend Hong Kong Lite.

Typically the prices had been great and the food amazing. Priced have gone up a couple time, so online menu isn't accurate. They give great portions for the price.
