Bidra med feedbackWe have been coming to this restaurant every year as a special treat when we visit Spain for the last 4 years. Staff and food have always been fantastic without question. However upon this occasion, the service left a lot to be desired and really tainted the whole experience. We waited over 35 minutes from being sat down to even get a drinks menu which we didn 't get until the 4th time of asking when I physically got up and went to see what was actually going on. I was met with instant bad attitude, eye rolling, ect despite being perfectly polite about the issue. A simple acknowledgement of the wait or a simple apology would of more than sufficed but this didn 't happen. The person in question was a female member of staff who was very evidently quite confrontational in her whole general demeanor and sadly I think ran the show from server perspective or at least thought she did. It 's amazing what you can pick up just from watching people and I have to say this person in particular literally walked round like she owned the place and struck me as rather brash and power tripped individual with a general attitude problem. I don 't know her name other than that she had a tatoo on her left arm saying Kathleen and it seemed to me like other staff members tiptoed around her too. Again, this is a totally different experience from the nice geuinely pleasant, caring members of staff we have always had the pleasure of dealing with. We are not very difficult to please people and are very courteous/appreciative to anyone who we deal with but this part of the experience sadly really dissapointed us especially when for the whole year we 've been looking forward to coming back here so much simply because of what a nice and pleasant experience it has been in the past. Positvrly, we were eventually passed over to another server who was absolutely fine, very pleasant and a pleasure to deal with as we normally expect I.E just to be treated in a civil manner, served in a timely fashion, and not spoken to as though you 're the problem for simply wondering why you haven 't even been asked what drink you would like after nearly 40 minutes of being sat down awkwardly. Another positive again was the food which as always was really lovely however, another thing worth noting is that they no longer have pictures of the dishes in their interactive menu anymore which is a shame and I think might put some less experienced diners off as Japanese is a much less common cuisine and it certainly really helped us first time round a few years ago to know what we were ordering. I think they could really improve things by going back to that idea. The plus side of this is that diners especially those new to the restaurant will likely have a more positive experience as they 're more likely to know what to expect when they order and avoid disappointment. Likewise, for most cuisines this wouldn 't be an issue but again I think for the more rarer cuisine in thus area where the cuisine tends to be very traditional it would be very helpful. A final note, we noticed the desert Mochi balls are significantly smaller than they were in other years. It does look like there have been some economies made here and there. For us, we expect to pay more here as it is a special place. Just please don 't compromise on your staff, quality, or the small details that make your restaurant special and more importantly paying customers are happy to spend good money time after time because they value the experience. Sadly, I don 't think we will rush back in future which really pains me to admit.
High quality Japanese food. Great service and location. Fast service. Will return as often as possible
We had such a beautiful dinner, the sushi was impeccable!!! Best I’ve ever had. Only down side one staff member, I believe his name was Albaro his manor was rude and unpleasant, unlike the rest of the staff who were very attentive. He really let the experience down. Other than that, overall night was lovely.
The site is worth the location. spectacular views give you a romantic lighthouse. it hurts that the culinary proposal is not updated. mime lost in the kitchen.
Excel·lent located i a més amb the draw d'una taula a primer línia. producte de qualitat, ben presentat i some original propostes. servei atent. not a lloc per anar amb presses, but per gaudir del temps de l'estada i el paisatge. pressupost approxt 50 60 euros per person.
