In this case, I wanted to learn to make orecchiette: a vegan pasta form that does not need a pasta machine and yet it is still beautiful. So I asked this special vegan class. The cook taught me step by step the process. At first we made a snake of dough and cut small parts thereof. Secondly, we formed them in small balls. With the knife we put it over the dough and pull it out at a very small angle: that made the dough loosen. Thirdly, we turned it out and the orchid was done. The cook taught me how to make a delicious vegan dessert: Castagnaccio with chestnut flour, orange peel, sugar, raisins, evoo, rosemary, water. Delicious! I suggest this vegan cooking class because it's interesting and hands on it.
I took some cooking classes in this hometown. The experience, the amount of creativity and knowledge were incredible. Every hand on vegan cooking class was super fun, informative. I have learned how to make a variety of vegan dishes especially the vegan recipes of Italian cuisine. The dishes are very healthy and look impressive, but are not difficult to make as they look. In this case, I wanted to learn to make Orecchiette: a vegan pasta shape that doesn’t need a pasta machine and yet it’s still gorgeous. So I asked this special vegan class. The chef taught me step-by-step the process. Firstly we made a snake of dough and cut small portions of it. Secondly we formed those into small balls. With the knife, we placed it over the dough and drag it out at a very slight angle: this made the dough curl. Thirdly we turned it inside-out and the orecchiette was done. The chef taught me how to make a delicious vegan dessert: Castagnaccio made with chestnut flour, orange peel, sugar, raisins, evoo, rosmarine, water. Delicious! I suggest this vegan cooking class because is interesting and hands on.
The vegan cooking class was interesting and fun. I learnt many recipes and I enjoyed the vegan pizza and focaccia. A must do in Padua.
