Zaramella - PADOVA

We stayed at Hotel Euopa, home of Zaramella, and had hte opportunity to each breakfast and dinner there. Breakfast was modest--eggs and bacon, croissants, meats and cheeses. Dinner was quite good. See our full review with pictures at testesdtravel.com

This is Hotel Europa's only restaurant and bar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, but the place is closed between meals. For breakfast, there is a warm and cold buffet: additional dishes can be ordered a la carte. Service is spotty. Lunch and dinner are a la carte. The selection of appetizers, primi and secundi plates is good, although not extensive. Flavors are excellent, portions, generous. There is only one house white wine and one red wine. Both are offered by the carafe or half carafe and are satisfactory. There is a good, although not excellent wine list by the bottle.

Located on the ground floor of the Hotel Europa, Ristorante Zaramella serves as the breakfast room for hotel guests, providing a broad selection of cereals, fresh fruit, eggs, cheeses, cold cuts and bakery goods. An automated coffee maker offers a good selection of coffees. While breakfast is self-served, there is table service if you request additional dishes from the kitchen. At noon and in the evening, the Trattoria opens for lunch and dinner to hotel guests and others who wander in. The menu offers a reasonable selection of Antipasti, Primi and Secondi Piatti. All are well-prepared, tasty, and represent good, basic Italian cuisine. The pastas are particularly delicious. There is a good wine list (Italian) and service is efficient, if not always friendly.

Hotel near the railway station, very comfortable for the center, in front of the chapel of the scrovegni and museum. excellent restaurant with typical specialties. friendly and helpful staff. clean room with balcony.recommended
