The best soups ! It's 12:30pm and they already ran out of the Pozole so I got the Albongidas, which is still warm, comforting and all gone made.

Incredible service! The staff, including the owner Jeff (I believe), makes you feel right at home, like you've known them forever! They are very attentive without being intrusive. This was my first time trying Not Your Father's Root Beer, and I've been hooked ever since. I've only sampled their drinks and appetizers; I had the hush puppies and the shrimp and grit cakes, both of which were delicious. On one visit, they had a special with fries topped with cheese and bacon, and we couldn't get enough of that! The food is tasty—while I wouldn’t say it’s the best I've ever had, I absolutely love the ambiance!

The food is excellent, which likely explains why the restaurant is often quite busy. Expect a decent wait during peak hours, even for takeout, despite calling ahead. They also have an enthusiastic celebration for birthdays that some might find a bit over the top. The staff is friendly but definitely overworked.

Authentic flavors, traditional style, and reasonable prices. It's conveniently situated behind A Burger. I placed a phone order on Saturday morning, and everything was perfect. The breakfast burrito was gigantic! I’ll definitely be returning!
