The Restaurants At Wyncote - Oxford

Had a nice dinner here with friends that was served by a friendly staff.

I love the food in the pub and the restaurant! I personally recommend the steak frites for dinner and the chicken/pork quesadilla for lunch. However, it’s not just the food that’s great, it’s all of the staff too. The servers are very lively (I wouldn’t prefer it any other way), but they’re also considerate and respectful. The new restaurant is very clean and up to date and even has a porch with tables that has a great view of the golf course. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try.Kid-friendliness: I’ve seen kids here frequently, and they do have a kids menu that’s very affordable.

This was for a large amount of people. Mostly everything was excellent, except some of the food was overcooked and dried out. This is a great place to have large functions.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair accessibility.

Writing this after having dinner at the pub. Felt heartburn come on immediately turned into vomiting. I believe I have food poisoning, I had the shepherds pie and a glass of red wine. Confused as to how this could happen. Shame because I always used to enjoy this restaurant in the summer.

The last 2 times I've been here, I've been sick the following day. The guests I brought with me also suffered uneasy stomach issues following their meals. It's unfortunate because it's a great location for a nice meal. Haven't been back.
