Bidra med feedbackLoch Fyne offers high-quality, fresh dishes with a consistent taste. For those who love prawns, the pan-fried chili and garlic king prawns starter is a must-try. Served with soft granat bread, each bite offers a burst of flavors including garlic, lemon, chili, and prawn. Customers can customize their main course with the fish bar option, choosing their fish, sauce, and two sides. My go-to choice is the sea bass, grilled with a tomato salsa and served with triple-cooked chips and fried green beans on a board. The seabass is perfectly cooked, with a light and sweet taste. The triple-cooked chips are a standout side dish. Overall, Loch Fyne is a fantastic dining experience for seafood lovers.
Loch Fyne offers high quality, fresh seafood with a consistent flavor. Their pan-fried chilli and garlic king prawns starter is a must-try for prawn lovers, served with soft granary bread that leaves a delicious mix of garlic, lemon, chilli, and prawn in your mouth. The fish bar option allows you to customize your main dish with your choice of fish, cooking style, sauce, and sides. The sea bream with tomato salsa, triple cooked chips, and fried green beans is a personal favorite, as the fish is perfectly grilled and the chips are crispy outside and soft inside. The set menu provides great value, including a gourmet version of a fish finger sandwich and delectable desserts like creme brûlée and baked apple pudding. The service at this Loch Fyne branch is always excellent, with cheerful and helpful staff creating a cozy atmosphere with water-themed paintings and an open kitchen displaying the fresh catch of the day. Whether you opt for an early or late lunch, Loch Fyne is open all afternoon, ensuring a delightful seafood experience.
Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant did not meet these expectations. The table was not set up when we arrived and we had to wait for it to be prepared. The service was slow and inattentive, and the food was mediocre at best. The atmosphere was also lacking, with a lot of noise and not much ambiance. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for an early seating. There are definitely better options out there.
Had a customer lunch here last Monday, we had the grilled plaice & halibut served with new potatoes.
