Sam's Fish & Chips Takeaway - Oxenford

We had a very large order for my daughters birthday. Noticed a couple of items missing but when questioning the chef he assured me they were in the pack. I thought maybe they were under everything and I just couldn’t see them. Got home and sure enough they were NOT there! We couldn’t even go back as we live too far away so paid for items that we didn’t get AND was lied to by the chef! Not happy and after many years of going here will not return. I would’ve been happy to wait for the items to be cooked if he was honest about the error and just told me! The price was also through the roof compared to what it used to be. Very disappointing.

I highly recommend this restaurant, even though I am currently employed here. It gets very busy on Fridays and weekends, but the food is always fresh and the portions are generous. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and respectful. Unfortunately, we are currently out of beer battered chips.

I have lived in Upper Coomera for around 10 years. Only twice have I found the restaurant open when their hours of operation indicate it should be, and today was not one of those times.

Fish is delicious. Service is friendly. Kids live the fish cocktail and chips pack for after school snack.

I have been living in this area for over 40 years and had never tried Sam's Takeaway until three weeks ago. Today will be our third visit and the Steak Burger with all the toppings is absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work! Delicious!
