Don Mario - Owensboro

We came in as a party of three a little over a week ago to try it out. Everyone was very nice. The table chips were so delicious, we bought an extra to go. Everyone liked their food. The only confusion we really had was the fact that the vegan fajitas came with non-vegan sides like sour cream and cheese. It should be served without those items at least. The vegan mole sauce needs more flavor to it, i had to add a bunch of my sides with it to be able to really enjoy it. I would come back to try something else and give it a shot. I love that you all even have vegan items. This is the first time I was able to eat out at a Mexican restaurant in a long time.

Located downtown near shops and bars. Fun atmosphere, quick and friendly service, clean. The Barbacoa is excellent and the price is very good.Vegetarian options: Entire vegetarian menu.. vegetables are cooked to perfection.. highly recommendKid-friendliness: Kid menus, child friendly environment

I had lunch with a friend yesterday and this was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! The service was amazing too!

They have the best street burritos around. The ceviche was delicious. My wife's food was excellent. Plenty to fill you up. Their rice and queso is outstanding
