Bidra med feedbackWell. I both liked and hated this place simultaneously. Love the vibe, cool concept and flavors. The product and price were great. However?. The process is so labor intensive and was so understaffed, there was a 40 minute gap between the first and last person from our group to get their ice cream. There were at minimum 14-16 cups in queue including Togo orders and only ONE person doing the ice cream. The first three people had finished theirs and were ready to go before they finished our last one and we only had seven people. I don?t know, cool process and product, but unsure it?s worth the unpredictable wait. The staff seemed to have no way out. One gal on the register/phone and one making the orders. Orders kept coming over the phone and they were having to interject phone orders into the queue even though people were standing there waiting. I feel so sorry for the staff. They were working so hard but people were coming back to pick up their order after 25 minutes and it still wasn?t ready so customers were mad and it probably impacted their tips. I have no clue how this place works in the summertime, but it was broken in January. Go during a non busy time. If there is a line?.. probably best to move along.
I enjoyed the creamy coconut milk that they put in it the strawbella is one I definitely reccomend because you get a creamy taste with blended strawberries. Definitely will be going back!
Note, this is rolled ice cream. Delicious, but very busy at 7ish on a Sunday. You select a menu item, which consists of a specific combination of ingredients (e.g., a number one which is strawberry, Nutella and Graham crackers), but then you get to add 3 additional toppings at the end. After ordering, you will wait for them to call your name. You will go up, they will make it, then ask for those extra toppings (you do not request them at the time of ordering). I didn't see this process clearly stated so hopefully this review helps!
Been going to this place since day one. They always make sure to call you up so you can enjoy the experience of watching them create a special treat! Perfect for a hot day like today!
What a magical experience I had here today. I walked in thinking this was a typical mix-in scoop shop . Wrong. They pour the cream on a frozen surface, chop fruits, cookies, nuts, and candies into it, and then they spread it flat so it hardens. The last step is what got me. They then scrape the ice cream off in rolls. ROLLS! It almost looks like crepes. They keep this form as you eat them. As soon as you scoop the ice cream in your mouth it melts into creamy goodness. I immediately wanted to order another one to try out more combinations.
