Bidra med feedbackGreat food. not your usual tex mex. love the atmosphere. quiet with beautiful decoration. cocktails are wonderful, especially when they get them to be happy hour. try this restaurant. You'll be glad you did it!
Are they looking for a break from their average Mexican food? we found it here! flavors are traditional with a high-class spin. everything is delicious so we can taste new things here. the personal is very personal and we appreciate the spoken Spanish. the cocktails should die! They are even child-friendly and so nice and accommodating for our one-year-old son. our favorite place for everyone.
The area kansas city is not known for its great Mexican food. yet there are decent places in the city. I had read that cacao restaurante was good, so I made the long trip to find out. I liked it was different than the Tex Mexican fare I usually ate. it is a little difficult to find healthy Mexican food (low sodium, low trans fat). I enjoyed the shrimp ceviche (healthy product), and the mini snipers. I loved the Sangre-rita, a combination of sangria and margarita. I ordered the maul throw enchiladas (sound because no cheese) which was in order. my companion got suppe with her meal. when I tried to replace suppe for dren and rice, I got a company no, with not even a counter offer with a hit. the fried beans were very tasteful. the rice was not much better than the rice on the order. overall, I would go back sometime.
First time dining here and we were impressed with the originality of the menu and the high quality of the food. We will be frequenting this restaurant.
Cacao is a neighborhood gem. They serve real food. I have had two lunches and a dinner here and each meal was delicious. There are lots of vegetarian options. The soups are fantastic. We discovered they have a lovely private room for a party of 8-10 or so. Many interesting cocktails on the menu. Ready to go back!
