New Year's Eve 2020, due to the coding the restaurant provided meals. Our were fantastic oysters, foie grass, steak, salmon, kouign amann for dessert. All delivered immediately and served warm on real dishes. The lady came the next day to get the plates. Delicious food, super service.
We bought sandwiches in this bar/restaurantA vegetarian sandwich and a fish rillettes one.
We ordered burgers and fries (priced at around 13 euros,) but they weren't any different than a fast food burger and fries (nothing special about the bun, which was not fresh baked or anything nicer than a typical supermarket hamburger bun) and fries that were not home-cooked. The mediocre service was what really annoyed us for the price: we ordered cider that came long after our meal had been served and when we asked for glasses for the cider, they never came, so we had to drain our water glasses. It was difficult to get the server's attention even in this little dining room, and another hotel/restaurant staff member was clearly annoyed at her colleague huffing and puffing about the restaurant and yelling at him (a bit unprofessional to do so in public.) In all fairness, they are friendly, but overextended. Obviously, the sea food seems to get better reviews here, so go for that!
A group of us ate here twice whilst on a yachting holiday. Both times the quality of the food was great and the service done with a smile, despite our broken French. There is something for everyone on the menu at a good range of prices.
