Bubba-q's - Ottumwa

Sun 7/21 1 pm The food and service was very good as usual. What was unacceptable were the gnats flying around the table and into the food. We asked the server and the answer was the mall does not do a good job of addressing the issue so they appear to drift over from the mall. That may be the case, can't say one way or the other. What I do know is we left our dishes uneaten as we were fighting off the gnats and it just got disgusting. Doubt we return anytime soon. If they fix this issue, we will gladly come back.

Don’t get the burnt ends! It’s not burnt ends, it’s pot roast! You want burnt ends go to Texas. They are the only ones able and capable of making burnt ends. Key your server was great. Very attentive. John deer corn was a let down, it’s like the cilantro had sat out for days and lost all flavor. The loaded potato was great. The BBQ Chef Salad was delicious. The steak cut like leather would not recommend. They are located in an abandoned mall, very run down.

I came in to Bubba-Q’s for dinner with my family on a holiday weekend. We didn’t have to wait for a table and the service was fairly speedy. Overall the food is pretty decent, I very much enjoyed my meal and my drink! However, what I didn’t enjoy was the amount of nats and little bugs flying around. Some of them landed in my food and my drink, which made me not want to finish my meal. I totally understand that it’s summertime and bugs are inevitable. However it was a little off putting to have all those bugs land in my food and drink

I paid $60.00 for food that was not completely done! Second the waitress April was to busy communicating with coworkers tondo her job. Last but absolutely not the least, our table was full of gnats. They were getting in our food our drinks when we said something we weren't offered another table or anything. Horrible Horrible place!

We enjoy going here. The food is so good. The people are so nice and friendly. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free food available. Which is amazing. Parking: There is plenty of parking. There's also handicapped parking available. Kid-friendliness: They have food there for kids. Wheelchair accessibility: They are easy to get to the door. There is a ramp.
