Bidra med feedbackIn the interior they can smell the kitchen. we should have walked, but we stayed. if they like their pizza black and burned this is the place to be. it was terrible. a waste of money.
Not quite. a trusted assian friend named a l 'etoile d' or the best tarte flambee restaurant in all Alsace. we have eaten hundreds of these delicious dishes and never had a better one (we actually ate 2). that said the restaurant is small,...alt fashion (without being charming), sitting opportunity was crowned, the menu quite limited and the wee not very good. we came to opening time and watched the small dining room fill to capacity, and then came the bus tour. the wife of the cook was the only server. they had to drink with a drunk in the native (where the regulars were sitting) who had to serve before the other guests. it was so crowded and hectic that new guests were turned away for about 30 minutes. the delicious slices came from the wood stove three and four at a time. I was amazed that not one on the floor. this hast enabled us to meet a conversation with guests at neighboring tables. that led to a very interesting conversation. we were all of the same opinion about the place eating, 5 points wein, 2 points service, 2 points ambiente, 1 point worth, 4-5 points than we drove over 30 miles (each way) for the tarte flambee and considered that it was the best we ever had (salad excluded) I find it impossible to give d'or less than 4 points. also I strongly recommend the restaurant. Hopefully the bus won't arrive until they've eaten and paid.
We ate here an evening in juni 2015. very welcoming owners, friendly service and a very tasty pizza, more like a tarte comb, but nothing worse for it, and our request for extra garlic was filled with enthusiasm! accompanied by a bottle...local rose, this was a very tasty informal meal in rustic environment.
Visited this restaurant by chance. They make a traditional Alsation dish similar to thin crust pizza, but much nicer. Great value, large portions and very tasty. A must for any traveller to the region.
