Visited once and had a lovely experience. Spoke to the staff about making a booking for another day which seemed no issue. However, trying to book with another member of staff a few days later, they couldn't accommodate the booking. This in itself was frustrating but somewhat understandable as it was a large group. The manner in which it was dealt with issue was poor however.

Stayed here as we were in the vicinity for a family wedding. Great staff , very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were nice with comfy beds. Evening meal was delicious, haggis bon bons, neeps and tatties with a whisky sauce Great Breakfast menu I had eggs Benedict, this was served with thick cut ham and eggs cooked to perfection . Would definitely stay here again if I was up this way. Thank you Rooms: 5

Had a great vegan meal here tonight,just basic home cooked food ,but very much appreciated,as we have really struggled to find anywhere local with decent vegan options. I had trio of sausages and mash ,with peas and proper onion gravy (gravy was delicious). My partner had the vegan option "fish and chips,served with mushy peas. We thoroughly enjoyed both dishes,they arrived piping hot and well presented. The staff were friendly and welcoming,and there was a lovely atmosphere. Well worth a visit,food is reasonably priced and well cooked. They even have Neck oil pale ale on tap(which is vegan too) so I was more than happy to wash down my bangers and mash with a decent pint.

What a fantastic place that is! in the middle of the landscape with fantastic view! the host, carol and brand are very welcoming and are very good on the opposite and very accommodating. the rooms are nice and very reasonable to the cost. eating is nice and also very reasonable! we will go back later this year and I highly recommend this place!
