The Pomeroy House - Ottawa

I ordered the beet and pork confit, which was amazing. My friends had the butternut squash main and the hot chicken, which were both amazing as well. However, the hot chicken was a bit too salty for my taste. We also enjoyed the crispy cauliflower.

I never thought I would be saved by Wild Boar, but that all changed after dining at The Pomeroy House.

I recently dined at the best restaurant in Ottawa that I have visited in the last few years. It was a perfect experience on a lovely Wednesday evening.

This restaurant serves very nice food, has a pleasant wait staff and a good wine list. However, the tables are less than 8 inches apart, the ceilings very high and echoey and it seems to attract patrons who like to yell at each other rather than have civilized discussion. My ears rang for a few hours after leaving and I will never go back.
