Bidra med feedbackA little pricey, but homey. Like all of the Oaks, the price is a little high for the food you get. It's not bad, but it's nothing special either. (Salads, in particular, could benefit from being a little fresher. <br/ <br/ Having said that, the atmosphere is that of a friendly, neighbourhood pub. It's a great place to watch a hockey game, or hang out with friends, and the fireplace is very cosy! I wouldn't necessarily go for dinner, but it's a great place to linger.
Went there recently and used the Boots n Hearts menu. They offer a chicken-slip special for 14 mice with choice of soup or frits or salad. We both had the soup that was a chicken currie. Just because of the best soup. And these hens were melted in your mouth. They had a sauce on them that had a little bite but was perfect. If I were a local, I would be a lot in this place just to try these chefs, especially soups. Good cook! Service was also excellent. 5 stars all day.
We visited a big birthday party. the food was excellent. the service is always great. many great beer. beautiful and cozy atmosphere. cannot wait to return. extra parking on the side.
Eating is good, but I am very limited with options as I am a vegetarian. there are very few options on the menu that are designed for a vegetarian and instead only salads without meat. bier is very expensive!
Stop in for a cold beer, great natchos, fish and chips and wings. Good for a game day or a summer patio. My spouse and I go and Rebecca always is awsome to chat with at the bar and have a pint. Patio in the...summer is nice and out in the open for a hot sunny day. No need to go downtown.
