Piccolo Grande Artisan Gelateria

This is a must stop shop everytime we go visiting Ottawa. The ice cream is so light and flavors just burst in your mouth. The only issue you'll have is trying to decide which flavors to choose !!! I never have time to snap pics of the ice cream selection we all took because everyone just wants to dig in. If you've never been you must !

Yesterday I went into Picolo Grande on Murray Street. • An accessible flat ramp from the street going down .awesome it easier for everyone. Two employees working all of the gelato flavors were out on display each one was soft and creamy easy to pick up and put into the cup size. I asked for medium size cup and picked out 2 flavors Bacio and Ameratto both were delicious together . I have not had soft Gelato quite like this since coming back from Rome.

Amazing gelato, not too sweet. I had the pistachio and the hazelnut flavors in a cone. The place has nice calmer vibes, as it is nestled slightly away from the byward market. 100% recommend!
