Perkins - Ottawa

During the holiday in the National Capital region, I came across Perkins while driving through Ottawa. Although it's hard to miss Perkins' brand giant Canadian flag on the front of their buildings, this day it wasn't as easy to see as it flew... Half-mass to remember the recent transfer of HM Queen Elizabeth II. It was in the evening, I had not eaten since morning and I know Perkins was usually a good place to dine. Like other shops, this was not disappointed. I like all day CANADIAN breakfast and ordered an Omelette. It was very well cooked and contained two sides. The service was also very good. Like the rest of the chain, prices were higher than competitive family restaurants. My disappointment with pricing is that I had just spent $14 for breakfast (before tax tip and they would not give a discounted price on a third page. I also wanted a muffin and they blamed me for the full price that was almost twice as high as the price you would pay for an independent bakery. I asked and they said it was a corporate policy. Too bad. It's just greedy for me. Shame on Perkins. Perkins is a great place for a CANADIAN breakfast. (I don't know what American breakfast is. This place is nowhere near the states. I'll be back.

This restaurant is an excellent way to have American breakfast. The staff is friendly and very fast. The food was 9/10.

I tried the beef stroganoff, which had a generous portion of roast beef and was very flavorful. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauce had a nice tang. My wife had the chicken stir-fry, which was also delicious and came in a generous portion. The server was attentive and provided great service.

They haven't visited perkins for some time and thought we'd have breakfast for a Saturday morning. the service was very friendly and prompt. you have to say, though that was not like we remembered. it was just that. the hathbrown were fat, the eggs were blase. Maybe before we visit.

My dad and I went to this restaurant last night for dinner because it was conveniently close to our hotel. The hostess was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the waitress was also very welcoming. The food was fantastic! I highly recommend the breakfast burger that I ordered, and my dad thoroughly enjoyed his all day breakfast as well. The prices were reasonable considering the generous portion sizes.
