Mcdonald's - Ottawa

The McDonald's restaurant is usually dirty and often out of condiments. The condiment and napkin area is disorganized and the garbage cans are typically full. The service is usually fast, and the food tastes the same as any other McDonald's location. However, there are some additional drawbacks. The restaurant is poorly lit and the ambiance is unpleasant. They used to have a window, but it was removed for unknown reasons. The seating area feels insecure and the bathrooms are in a terrible state. On a positive note, the staff are very friendly, with many long-term employees who genuinely seem like nice people. Overall, it is a typical McDonald's located in a Walmart, with some detracting features that cannot be overlooked, despite the friendly staff.

I would rate this restaurant four stars because the service is typically very polite and reliable at this particular location.

This McDonald's is a pleasant place that serves fast food efficiently. It meets the expectations one would have for a McDonald's.

It's usually dirty. They are usually out of condiments. The condiment/napkin area is in disarray. The garbages are usually full. The service is usually fast. The food tastes the same as every other McDonalds in the country. But here are other things...it's dimly lit. Seriously the ambiance is awful. They used to have a window but got rid of it for some reason...they should put it back. The seating area feels insecure...it's that bad. The bathrooms are the Walmart bathrooms which are beyond gross. The staff are very friendly...what a nice surprise. Many have been there forever and they seem to be genuinely nice people. Overall...a typical walmart McDonalds (which will never get more than an "average" in my books" with some detracting features which unfortunately cannot be overcome by nice people working there.

In the drive thru, they usually get your order wrong every third time. Better to check your order properly, before moving on. They are especially bad at missing extras, like bacon on your burger, or salsa with the breakfast burrito. Coffees are especially mixed the most.
