Bidra med feedbackIncredibly authentic Italian restaurant. Great for special occasions. Will certainly be back!
Everything was fantastic!! Located in a beautiful old mansion.. The service to the delicious food and the amazing entertainment really made the night special. I would definitely go back again and again.
Went to Mama Theresa 2 days ago and the food was awful! I ordered the chicken parm and the outside of the chicken was very chewy and I could barely cut through it. When I told the waiter, he asked if I wanted a better knife and went to get the manager. It felt like the chicken was pre cooked and they put it in the microwave. Spaghetti was bland. Will not go back even if it was free.
Coming here during the Christmas time was so lovely~ I enjoyed the warm classic Christmas decor and seating layout, it feels homey yet upscale with the service and waiter etiquette. They first brought out complementary baguette bread (with olive oil+balsamic vinegar), olives pickled peppers. For starters we had their CALAMARI. it was lightly battered, seasoned well, and perfectly deep-fried. The texture was soft and wasn't rubbery at all! As for the mains, we got the LOBSTER RAVIOLI VEAL WITH LIGHT LEMON SAUCE. The Lobster Ravioli had a delicious rose sauce that was thickly layered on 6 pieces of rather large ravioli stuffed with just the right amount of ricotta and small chunks of lobster. The Veal was super tender and soft. Although it was pricey for 4 small slices of meat, the quality of each component of the dish was superb. The lemon sauce was indeed light but still creamy and well-balanced. We definitely used the side veggies to soak it all up. Overall, Mamma Teresa offers an enjoyable warm atmosphere with quality Italian food that was well executed !
If you have the palate of a 4 year old and enjoy vanilla red sauce restaurants, this place will blow your mind. Bland and over priced, this is an exceptional example of a restaurant that caters to people who grew up eating white glue and wonder bread. The menu is as pedestrian as they come, serving up populist fare to those who are easilly taken in by its faux old world charms , people who have no idea what the difference is between desert and dessert. If you 're wondering where people with too much money and too little taste go, you 've found it in Mama Teresa 's. Disingenuous friendliness, and a decor designed by someone who is trying to recruit you into their cult by wearing you down emotionally and then molesting you with a barrage of horrid compliments, Mama Teresa 's should have closed in 1970, the same year it opened. Some people suspect that it was actually Mama Teresa 's that broke up the Beatles.
