La Noodle - Ottawa

I was exploring the Bywater neighborhood and stumbled upon this noodle restaurant. The menu was affordable and offered a variety of delicious noodle options, similar to the dishes at Nouilles de Lan Zhou Noodle Shop.

I recently tried this restaurant for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Despite being located in a slightly questionable area near Rideau Road and the Byward Market, it was easy to find and offered delicious Chinese hand-made noodles and a few other options. The open kitchen allowed us to watch the noodles being made, and the dining area was simple with tables and chairs. The waitress was friendly, efficient, and clearly enjoyed her job. I opted for the spicy Dan Dan noodles, which were exactly what I was looking for and did not disappoint.

I visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, who had eaten there for three days in a row and is a professional cook. With high expectations, I arrived at the lovely little restaurant and was impressed by the open concept kitchen where noodles were being hand-pulled. The service was efficient, friendly, and well-maintained. I ordered the signature stir-fried noodles with beef, which arrived hot and fresh from the kitchen. The generous portion of hand-pulled noodles with vegetables and beef tasted unlike anything I had tried in Canada, some of the best noodles I have ever had. They were perfectly cooked with the right amount of sauce and spice. My expectations were exceeded, and I found the place to be amazing. During my meal, the server surprised us with delicious dry-rubbed chicken wings as a gesture from the restaurant, which added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, the food was delicious and fresh, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was beautiful. The prices were reasonable, and I felt I got great value for my money. La Noodle, you have gained a regular customer in me. Great job!

Love the Dandan and eggplant ingredients are fresh, and portions are generously handmade noodles!!! so good

I came here for a quick lunch. It was flavourful, filling, and fast at a reasonable price. I will come back for sure!
