We've been to Dantessa's a few times now, as we live not too far away. This restaurant really is in a bad spot. You can't see it from the road, because it's hidden behind the Dairy Queen. But we've given it a few chances and foodwise it has yet to fail us. We went for supper on Valentine's Day. The heart shaped lobster ravioli was outstanding. The maple crème brulée for dessert was equally delicious. My only note of pickiness is that I got all of TWO croutons on my ceasar salad. Two. Really? Why not just skip the croutons if you're going to be THAT stingy. Despite the crowded restaurant on Valentine's Day, on a regular day, you will find the place nearly empty. It generally means quick service and fresh food.In any case, if you're looking for Italian, skip going to a place like East Side Mario's, and check out Dantessa's. It's infinitely better.
