Carben - Ottawa

I made a last-minute reservation at this restaurant for my brother's birthday. My family was very pleased with their meals and the service was outstanding. Naj was a fantastic server and all the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place. It's a hidden gem in the local area.

Having recently tried some of the restaurants in Ottawa, I have to say that CARBEN really stood out to me. The atmosphere is both modern and trendy, yet still warm and inviting. The service was top-notch - quick, friendly, and helpful. The dishes were not only beautifully presented, but also unique and creative. I was especially impressed by the use of fresh ingredients in unexpected combinations, like the strawberry gazpacho with cilantro and fresh yogurt. The main course was delicious and the portion size was just right. I will definitely be revisiting CARBEN and bringing along some friends to share the experience with.

The service was flawless, the dishes were creative and beautifully presented, the cocktails were well-balanced, and they even had my favorite wine on the menu. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Last night was the best meal I've had in Ottawa in years. Seriously. Years. 2 vegetarians 4 veggie dishes (which was already more than I'd expect on a menu so small) BUT they created another that was creative and amazing. The service was attentive and personal, the wine list lovely. I simply can't wait to go back and have been telling everyone who will listen that they need to go....

Best duck I've ever had .. and I've had duck! The food was well presented server extremely knowledgeable and the food was a pleasant surprise! Delicious well balanced with flavor speechless!
