Really enjoyed the story Mich was telling me to pass the time while my order was being made, however I wish there were a few tables left available for dine-in after hours, like literally just the few tables closest to the entrance, pretty cold days are coming, and I 'm sure more people would want to spend time at the cozy A&W on Hazeldean.Mich 's recommendation of the BLT Chicken Cruncher was a good one, really enjoyed that. Not the biggest crunch ever, but definitely a crunch by fast food standards. I 'm also glad she put a lid on my water, because when I got on the bus, I sat down, put it on my seat, and it like, immediately fell ? The lid didn 't come off, so it only spilled a tiny bit. Good water tho ?? Also good sweet potato fries, definitely sweet potato, can confirm
The worst AW location in history. I don't think I've gone here a single time and not have them mess up the order. When I went back in drive thru and waited 15minutes they'll gas light you and call you a liar. I told them to pull security tapes and tell me again I'm lying about getting 1 drink instead of 2? Lol What a disgrace to a once proud Canadian franchise. AW corporate, if you read this and actually care I have one word for feedback.... PATHETIC. I'll literally burn my money before I ever go back to this garbage establishment.
By far the best A&W food we have had in a VERY long time. The onion rings were not over seasoned or over cooked. The sweet potatoe fries were crispy and hot, not warm, soggy and limp. The service was friendly and fast, everywhere was clean and well stocked.To staff and crew, great job, our visit was very enjoyable.To the Manager and owner, your staff were amazing and worked well together, you should be proud of their hard work and professionalism.Thank you
I was there on August 19th, 2023 around 5.50 pm. I placed my order which was taken in such a rush that even before finishing every item, I was asked “Anything else” almost 6-7 times.I came to window and was handed over the bag of food in such a rush that the bag dropped. The staff at the time (Nikhil) was not even looking towards me while handing food. Either the place is understaffed and they are doing a lot and fast. Or staff are simply rude and don’t care. When I told him, at least look on this side while handling food, he says he handles all customer like this.So he seemed pretty confident that HE DOESN’T CARE.I did ask to see the manager and at that time he said manager is not available(probably manager is in during morning).So a suggestion to management, I know it can be a stressful environment working sometimes but a general decency and customer service can be provided. Not asking to be super friendly but while handing in the food please be careful. Had it been a cup of hot coffee, it would have been worse.I suggest training that particular employee on how to speak with customers.A note: I was given another food after the food was dropped.
