168 Sushi Japanese Buffet - Ottawa

Quick service, great tasting food, went for dinner and stayed for 2 hours and left stuffed but not gross. Dinner buffet $37 +tip and drinks.

It's dang good and the service was on point. Used the Ipad and within a few minutes the staff was already bringing stuff out. Fastest I've ever seen food delivered at an AYCE sushi place, and the quality was definately there as well.

Garbage dump. Never againI used to go here regularly. Looks like it went down the hole. Bought Ottawa roll, chicken wings and 2x beef fried rice.The sushi (Ottawa roll) had cooked salmon but the salmon was hard which means they cooked it many many hours ago. The wings were palatable.The fried rice was absolute trash. We ate a spoon full from one and the other order of beef fried rice went straight to the trash (see pics). The beef tasted rotten and the dish had no flavour other than soy and some frozen mixed vegetables. It even lacked salt. How is that even possible with fried rice?I am so mad. This restaurant’s food is beyond terrible. I am not a good cook and this can’t compare with my home made sushi and fried rice.I guess there was a bit of foreshadow of what’s to come when I placed the order. The order was ready to go within 3 minutes — this is faster than McDonlads!! How do you make sushi with cooked salmon in 3 minutes? How do you fry chicken wings in 3 mins? Well you don’t! You serve your customers pre made trash food. The food I ordered and was served doesn’t even compare with the worst frozen dinners.Anyway, please avoid this place. I am a supporter of small business but this place is beyond horrible.

Katie is right. It’s really not very good anymore. The sushi ? is not too bad but the soups suck and the beef and chicken ? skewers I had today were super bitter. The sweet and sour chicken is just OK. I used to go a lot but now I will just go get hotpot at little sheep ? on MarivaleParking: Parking in the back.

It was my first return in many years, and I was disappointed. The food good however it was not to the quality of 3 years ago. Items came out in an odd order as we received items from our second order prior to receiving all of the items from our first order. We were happy with the items. We just wish we would have been told something as we obviously waited. I feel this may have just been a bad day, and we will return to try again.
