Bidra med feedbackMy friend and I were out for a long walk today and we decided to stop by Safia for bite to eat. From the moment you open the door, the aroma takes your breath away, and the staff so friendly! We both ordered the beef wrap with vegetables and a touch of hot sauce. We also ordered some samosas and got a free mandazi to taste. The food was absolutely delicious and reminded us of home, Tanzania and Kenya. We will be going back for the ugali and other dishes. They also serve, homemade chai. The portions are great as well. The two young gentlemen, who served us were friendly and kind. Safia restaurant on St Laurent /walkley location is a hidden gem I highly recommend you try!
Overheard: Best African food. Feels like home. Amazing all around, from the spicy brown sauce and well-seasoned rice, to the tender chicken and quick-pickled tangy red onions. Affordable with great portions, especially dinner for two. Staff were gracious, friendly, and welcoming.
Great spot, welcoming and kind staff , great pricing and amazing value for food. seriously could eat here every day!Great job!-Kev
Great food and very cheap! This will definitely be from now on the place where I will get my food! Awsome! I definitely recommend to get their food.
This is the worst experience, I had with Safia restaurant on the 1st of February 2024 for which I ordered a Rice Chicken Suqaar from them and the food delivered looks delicious with no doubt. Fortunately, it was my good luck that I had found a chopped synthetic rubber material in the food with the onion and beetroot before started eating.
