La Quinta Del Sol - OTHÓN P. BLANCO

We were recommended to go here from some ex-pad cities. The food was delicious! The wine was great and the staff was really friendly!

We are happy to have used a private small chained area on the beach for hotel guests. The numerous providers do not bother you too much here. This part of the beach did not seem so badly hit with the seagrass, although someone worked to clean it. There was a storm on the lake and the beach was flooded over Majahual. There is a long pier next to the property and we enjoyed going to the fish, and the occasional fishermen. The toilets are clean and there is an outdoor shower. We had a good lunch with conchinita tacos! A little pricier than other local places, but also seemed a bit classic. This end of the city is not so crowded. We can stay here at our next visit.

We stopped here on a current cruise and were pleasantly surprised. We took a £3.00 ride that took us off at this place, we went through their bar area to the beach so we could walk the scenic, met Jose, and we were addicted. No fee for the use of the chairs or their facilities. You have a $32.00 all-inclusive drink package that you can buy. We had a group of 6.3 adults(2 drinkers) and 3 teenagers. We decided not to buy the ai package and it worked out less than if we had paid for ai. Jose kept the drinks, food and of course free tequila coming as we wanted. Simply walk to shops if you want and the beach seller(which were very polite) were far and few between. I would recommend this place for a great beach day. They offer kayaks, snorkeling and wave runners as well as a fee. 3 ships in the port and this place was busy, but not like some places packed in dense.

We have been to Mahahual several times and always stop by this restaurant for pizza. The restaurant is located in the new La Quinta Del Sol hotel at the entrance to Mahahual proper...(Next to Senor Frogs .The restaurant overlooks and is open to the malecon and the beach. It is tasteful , modern and clean with some great jazz and Cool European music playing in the background.This hands down is the Best Pizza we have ever tasted..... It 's in a league all of it 's own...!!!! The Shrimp pizza is outstanding.....Fresh large shrimp in a tomato garlic sauce with a sprinkle of oregano and cheese on a wood oven thin baked crust....Heaven...Actually any meal we have ordered including the pasta has been excellent. The service have always been attentive and very friendly. The prices are reasonable 10 to 12 dollars a pizza....Pizza at La Quinta... Now That 's....... Amore ...Enjoy

We spent the day here on the beach when we were on the Thompson Dream. Raul and Jose P were very attentive and kept the drinks flowing all day. The food was nice and the facilities were clean and tidy. Would recommend spending the day here.
