New China Hut - Oswego

The staff working here is wonderful. They are always kind friendly. They work extremely hard for us customers Always skilled, fast, efficient. Best of all, they are good at what they do and prepare delicious food. The food always comes hot,fresh, tastes delicious. I?d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great meal.

After seven years of living here and being let down by the local Chinese restaurants, I can confidently say that this is the best Chinese spot in Oswego, along with New China Hut No. 3 on River St. The egg rolls and potstickers are absolutely delicious, and they reheat perfectly in the air fryer, just like the sweet and sour chicken and pork nuggets! Every dish we've tried has been fantastic, from the beef stick appetizer to the General Tso's and Orange Chicken. The Beef and Broccoli is also superb, beautifully seasoned. However, the standout item on the menu has to be the Singapore-style noodles (#462). We will definitely keep returning to both locations whenever we crave Chinese food. If you’re looking for fresh, crispy, and tasty Chinese cuisine in the Oswego/Aurora area, don’t waste your time anywhere else! I strongly recommend calling in your order instead of using Door Dash. It’s more affordable, and there's no comparison when it comes to freshness if you opt for takeout!

The food was good, I’ll give them that, but it was definitely overpriced. Unfortunately, the service was lacking, as the staff member I encountered had a rather unfriendly attitude. Additionally, the kitchen appeared to be dirty. I suppose that’s not entirely surprising for a Chinese kitchen, but it was still disappointing.

Surprisingly better than I anticipated. It had some initial issues, but my last visit turned out quite well. The new China Hat features a couple of stalls, including this one.
