Bidra med feedbackA warm friendly restaurant with good service. The food was excellent and well prepared giving us all a taste of Italy.
Visited with two teenage kids after a day on the beach. We had such a lovely meal, the friendly chef came out to greet us with complimentary starters. What a lovely welcome to a restaurant. The waitress was also very sweet and spoke rather quick Italian and she was super helpful. It’s tricky to find and we only wish for them they were in a more central visually central) location as it’s a little bit out of the way. 100% effort from all the staff and chefs. Mille grazie !!
Our group visited this lovely restaurant which was adjacent to our hotel for a local products tasting. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a long table of beautifully plated appetizers. The chef described his creations which we happily enjoyed, along with a refreshing aperol spritz. I especially liked the eggplant dishes. One thinly sliced and slightly pickled and the other chopped with peppers in olive oil. Feeling more than satisfied we did not expect the additional calzone and pasta! Although I was too full to indulge, some of my companions did, and enjoyed the additional generosity of the chef. I would happily go back for dinner when I have more of an appetite! I've been in san Pietro restaurant with my family on the last week end of August. Just arrived in Apulia I couldn't wait to try Their famous raw fish. I asked for a mixed raw fish platter as starter but there was no price. The waiter (very professional i have to say), said that the price for that dish could range between 25 to 30 euro depending on the fish available. I changed My mind then for obvious reasons and i ordered raw prawns for 10 € as it said on the menu. I asked for mixed grilled seafood as main while my father got beef rib And my mother had pasta. Prawns where fresh and very nice, my father's beef was something like a very thin layer of meat with mash and tomato sauce, my mother's pasta was good, but it was an appetizer portion. My fish was absolutely fresh, but burnt and bitter. We were rushing so we didnt want to complain. When we got the bill the owner charged 25 euro for my prawns. I asked why i had to pay 25€ when on the menu it sais 10€. The owner's answer was that i was aware of the possible change of price of the raw fish and he pays prawns 70€ for the kilo.im italian, i work in hospitality from years and i think this is stealing. I simply suggest tourists who wants to enjoy our beautiful country, food and culture not to go there. The service was good tough.
After a 1 week trip in Salento we ended up in this restaurant. From the start we knew it would not be in the top of our must list. My wife ordered a mixed grill of meat for 12 EUR where only porc type of meats were served. Myself I took orrechiette with small prawns and vongole EUR 12 as well that were not tasteful at all. As to dessert we paid EUR 5 for grapes !!!! and a stiff small portion of panacotta where my spoon could stand still. All in with grilled vegetables good , amaro, coffee, 1/4 house wine and water EUR 51. People were very nice but they should sincerely reconsider their cuisine or significantly lower the price.
