The Salmon - Oslo

The best salmon I've ever had! I would recommend salmon trilogy as a starter. The staff was fantastic and a great experience.

I loved it here. There is a really informative little museum that explains everything about salmon farming in Norway. We came to brunch and had a delicious salmon waffle, a grilled salmon fillet with truffle mash and asparagus and some Halibut sushi. It was all delicious. The service was also great.

We had an absolutely fantastic evening at The Salmon in Oslo. The menu was filled to the edge with beautiful options to choose from, but we were incredibly happy with the chosen dishes. This restaurant knows how to prepare salmon in a way that really does the quality of fish justice. The taste was beautiful and the whole meal was more than a dinner. Once we finished eating, we learned about the sustainable way the Norwegian salmon industry works. That was a good thing to do. It is very rare that you can see such a transparent look exactly where your food came from. Thank you to the boss and staff, for our favorite meal in Oslo.

One of the dishes was the best food I ever tasted. Nice and welcoming service, absolutely gorgeous and delicious food, amazing room with a very good view. Also a small museum was all about salmon! 10/10 would recommend!

I really like how they really specialize salmon dishes. Both on Japanese style and western European style of food. The mashed potato in the grilled salmon dished is very on point. The place is also nicely decorated with an exhibition like on farming Salmon.
