Bidra med feedbackWe sampled a variety of the vegan dishes and found them to be delicious! It was quiet in the restaurant during our visit, but we believe they deserve more customers.
Not the flashiest place but cosy, warm and smells amazing! The menu clearly identifies the many vegan options. I had the vegan beyeaynetu, which has six different dishes that are eaten with injera (slightly sour flatbread), but they can give you rice and a fork if you like. It was filling, flavourful and nutritious. Great authentic Ethiopian food and a lovely relaxing meal!!
The place is not where most food places are and that 's probably why there 's not that many people when I went there (a Sunday). The food was about 180 NOK but the portions is good because of all the 'lefse ' you get with it. Really tasty, but not the nicest restaurant from atmosphere.
The menu at this restaurant does not clearly designate vegan options, and there are only a limited number to choose from. The staff was friendly and the food was decent, though not outstanding. This could be a good choice for those looking to venture into trying Ethiopian cuisine for the first time.
I dined at this restaurant today. The food was decent and they incorporate some flavorful spices, but it seems that most of the dishes are not made with fresh ingredients. It appears that they rely heavily on canned ingredients, such as the spinach in my dish. It would have been much tastier if it had been made with fresh vegetables. I ordered item number 14 and was the only customer there for the entire hour and a half I spent at the restaurant. This lack of other patrons is usually a red flag for me, so I will not be returning.
